Remote Jobs is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support accounts receivable, billing, collections, and revenue cycle operations across communities. The role partners with Business Office Managers and CEOs to analyze performance, identify risks, and implement best practices.

The AR Specialist will train staff, monitor aging, ensure accurate billing, and coordinate with payers. Travel to assigned communities may be required to support month-end processes and audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of accounts receivable, billing, or collections experience.
• Healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance billing, Medicaid, Medicare, or managed care reimbursement preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Train and support accounts receivable and billing for assigned communities.
• Monitor AR balances and aging reports.
• Follow up on outstanding balances with residents and payers.
• Review resident accounts for accurate billing and timely payments.
• Assist with payer setup, rate changes, and system maintenance.
• Prepare reports related to AR activities.
