Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a data analyst to provide informational and analytical services in support of strategic initiatives and management decisions. The role involves financial analysis, forecasting, demographic and provider data, and map creation.

You will prepare quarterly division performance reports and collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality care, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and PowerBI proficiency; MBA preferred or in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred or in progress.
• Minimum of two years in health care planning/marketing, hospital finance, or health care consulting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to collaborate across levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; proficient in PowerBI and hospital decision support systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides informational and analytical services supporting strategic initiatives and management decisions.
• Performs financial analysis, including pro forma projections and financial modeling.
• Delivers service area information with demographics, forecasting, and provider data.
• Creates maps to visualize demographic data and prepares quarterly division performance reports.
• Collaborates with teams to deliver high-quality care and service improvements.
