Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with large databases, data verification, and data management.
• Healthcare analytics experience preferred.
• SQL/querying languages required; Python and R knowledge preferred.
• Power BI knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends by interpreting data from claims, provider, member, and encounters data.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts and reports using SQL, Excel, or other analytics tools.
• Contribute to planning and execution of large-scale projects with limited direction.
• Assist in design, testing, and implementation of process enhancements and automation opportunities.
• Perform root-cause analysis of data irregularities and present findings to leadership or customers.
• Communicate findings to non-technical business partners and customers.
