Job summary

BerryDunn’s Healthcare Analytics Practice Group is seeking a highly motivated Consulting Intern to support Health Policy Analysis. The full-time internship runs May 25, 2027 to August 6, 2027, based in Portland, ME.

You will work under supervision to learn consulting processes, analyze healthcare data, and develop clear client-ready reports and presentations. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a Master's program in a relevant field and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master's degree program in Mathematics, Statistics, Political Science, Public Health, Economics, MIS, Health Care Management or Business.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; Visio/Teams/SharePoint desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of the general consulting process.
• Follow diagnostic, data collection, fact finding, and data analysis practices.
• Develop written and verbal communication skills.
• Gather, manipulate, and analyze healthcare data from various sources.
• Keep supervisors informed of project status; participate in staff meetings and training.
• Prepare concise summaries, reports, and presentations of complex data for client leadership.
