Job summary

BerryDunn is seeking a Consulting Intern for the Medicaid Practice Group in Portland, ME. You will support client projects, prepare analysis and communications, and help track progress while learning the consulting business inside a national firm.

This internship runs May 25, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with potential for ongoing opportunities remote or hybrid after completion based on business need.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in BA/BS/MS Degree in Public Policy, Health Management, or Public Health.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Relevant work experience in your field is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in relationship building and teamwork.
• Excellent writing, communication, and computer skills.
• Drive and initiative.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Engage in a supportive team environment to gain an understanding of consulting.
• Support one or more client projects with written communication and analysis, and assist in client meetings, tracking action items, and reporting on progress.
