Optum Health seeks a Service Designer, AI & Product Office, to shape how care evolves when an AI-enabled product arrives. You will map end-to-end care flows, define roles and workflows, and embed with frontline teams across markets.

This hands-on builder role focuses on measurable enterprise value, writing learnings for future markets and partnering with product, design, and engineering to design enterprise-ready services for deployment.

Competenze

7+ years of experience in operations, process improvement, or service design in care delivery settings.
Experience in healthcare industry and/or large complex organizations.
Ability to design new services or operating models with clinical/operational teams and demonstrate impact.
Experience planning and facilitating Lean/kaizen events with frontline teams.
Experience using AI tools in work and building with them (agent/automation/LLM).
Works as a senior individual contributor across functions to deliver hard problems.

Mansioni

Embed with local teams to shadow and map current care delivery,end-to-end across care settings.
Plan and facilitate kaizen events and working sessions to identify problems and design future workflows.
Document observations weekly for cadence reviews and reusable handoffs for next markets.
Design service blueprints around products including roles, workflows, and staffing changes.
Partner with product, design, and engineering to define product and operational behaviors.
Measure and hand off service designs to deployment and ensure enterprise readiness.
