Job summary

PathAI in Boston is offering an internship/co-op in Fall 2026 / Winter 2027 for a Machine Learning Engineer. You will be embedded in our AI product and ML Core teams, contributing to active projects with direct impact on the roadmap and business goals.

You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate clinical needs into scalable ML solutions for patient outcomes. 3–6 month commitment; onsite 3 days/week preferred; remote US-based candidates considered.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in MS or PhD with a focus on CV/ML.
• Strong Python programming and hands-on ML framework experience.
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals and computer vision.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Passion to improve patient lives.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, and evaluation of ML models for AI products and services.
• Work on subprojects from the ML product roadmap and model improvements.
• Partner with MLOps and platform teams to enhance ML pipelines.
• Participate in experiments, analysis, and knowledge-sharing activities.
