Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to own end-to-end deployments of our models within healthcare organizations, including payers, providers, and health systems.

Based in San Francisco with a hybrid work model (3 days in the office per week), the role involves technical discovery, architecture, implementation, evaluation, and production deployment, plus collaboration with customer teams and internal partners. Relocation assistance is offered and travel up to 50% is required.

• Own the technical solution end to end, from customer discovery and workflow scoping through architecture, hands-on implementation, evaluation, production deployment, adoption, and handoff.
