About The Role

The role owns the operational and administrative backbone of a growing healthcare technology organization: facility and vendor coordination, compliance-driven scheduling, personnel administration, and the HIPAA-aligned documentation practices that keep daily operations audit-ready.

You will work at the intersection of US healthcare operations and business administration — managing credentialing workflows, insurance and benefits administration, regulatory recordkeeping, and cross-functional coordination with clinical operations, HR, finance, and legal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day healthcare administration: scheduling coordination, records management, and operational workflows that meet HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulatory requirements
  • Manage credentialing and licensure tracking for staff and contractors, ensuring all documentation is current and audit-ready
  • Administer vendor and payer relationships, including service agreements, invoicing reconciliation, and compliance documentation
  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures in the EHR/HRIS stack (e.g., Epic, Workday, or comparable systems) and internal knowledge bases
  • Coordinate onboarding, benefits administration, and personnel records in partnership with HR and finance
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits, compiling regulatory documentation and remediation tracking
  • Report on operational KPIs — compliance timelines, cost center spend, process cycle times — and surface risks to leadership
What We Are Looking For
  • 4-7 years of healthcare administration, medical office management, or healthcare operations experience in the US healthcare system
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and healthcare payer/provider administrative workflows
  • Hands-on experience with EHR, HRIS, or practice management platforms (Epic, Cerner, Workday, athenahealth, or similar)
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing concurrent priorities under regulatory deadlines
  • Excellent written communication and experience producing audit-ready documentation
  • Bonus: FACHE or CMPE certification, experience at a venture-backed healthcare startup, or familiarity with value-based care administration
