Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with EHR or practice-management platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or comparable systems.
  • Strong analytical and process‑improvement skills; proficient with Excel or Google Sheets and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day administrative workflows across scheduling, referrals, eligibility verification, prior authorization, medical records, and patient support.
  • Configure and improve EHR, practice-management, CRM, and ticketing workflows; maintain role-based access, templates, queues, and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor operational KPIs including appointment utilization, referral turnaround, authorization aging, claim-error rates, service levels, and patient-resolution time.
  • Coordinate audits, compliance reviews, and corrective actions related to HIPAA, CMS requirements, payer policies, and internal controls.
  • Partner with clinical, revenue-cycle, engineering, and customer-support teams to investigate process failures and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Build recurring reports and dashboards in Excel, SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools; present risks, trends, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage healthcare vendors and implementation projects, tracking requirements, dependencies, timelines, training, and post-launch adoption.

The Healthcare Administrator manages the operational infrastructure behind healthcare delivery, including provider workflows, patient-access processes, payer requirements, and compliance controls. The role connects clinical, revenue-cycle, product, and support teams to keep services efficient, accurate, and aligned with US healthcare regulations.

You will use EHR and practice-management systems, claims and scheduling data, dashboards, and documented procedures to improve performance across distributed operations. The work directly affects patient experience, regulatory readiness, reimbursement accuracy, and the team’s ability to scale healthcare programs safely.

What We Are Looking For
  • 3-8 years of experience in healthcare administration, healthcare operations, practice management, revenue cycle, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, health information management, business, public health, or a comparable discipline
  • Working knowledge of US healthcare operations, HIPAA, payer processes, CMS requirements, and healthcare documentation standards
  • Hands‑on experience with EHR or practice-management platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or comparable systems
  • Strong analytical and process‑improvement skills; proficient with Excel or Google Sheets and comfortable working with operational data and dashboards
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional projects, document procedures, and communicate clearly with clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders
  • Bonus: Experience with SQL, Looker, Tableau, Salesforce, Jira, Lean/Six Sigma, healthcare accreditation, or certifications such as CMPE, CPHQ, or RHIA
