Job summary

NorthBay Health offers an Administrative Fellowship designed for emerging health system leaders. Fellows gain exposure to real-world operations while rotating within a single business unit and progressing to accountable program ownership.

You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor residents, and drive strategic initiatives with senior leaders. The program emphasizes practice management, leadership in operations, and a culminating Capstone project overseen by an executive vice president.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) or MBA or related master’s before fellowship start; residency completed.
• Experience: Healthcare industry exposure with leadership preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, organization, time management, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge from administrative residency to deliver measurable results.
• Lead enterprise-level initiatives tied to system priorities.
• Own projects with accountability for outcomes.
• Participate in or chair committees, task forces, or steering groups.
• Build and share operational dashboards or leadership scorecards.
• Partner with senior leaders and present at leadership meetings.
• Contribute to strategic planning and financial reviews.
• Lead work groups and interdisciplinary teams.
• Mentor administrative residents and early-career staff.
• Deliver multiple projects and complete a Capstone for an EVP.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
