Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field, 2 years of healthcare actuarial experience, and actuarial association eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, or related field (with a minimum GPA of 3.20)
• 2 years of experience in any actuarial role in the healthcare domain
• Experience with analyzing data using Python
• Working with big data and querying data using SQL code
• Advanced Excel Functions
• Must be an Associate of the Society of Actuaries

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to estimate risk and financial impact for a global healthcare insurance company
• Develop and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting
• Support the development of new products, pricing strategies, and profitability
• Perform scenario testing and analysis of risk and opportunities
• Prepare reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings to key stakeholders
• Monitor experience studies and adjust assumptions based on emerging trends
• Collaborate with finance, underwriting, and product teams to support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards
