Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel and other basic computer skills.
• Must possess accounting knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Must be detail oriented and keep information accurate and organized.
• Highly ethical with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.
• Working knowledge of Medicare Advantage or PACE program is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries and ensuring the accuracy of the entries.
• Maintain the financial reports and general ledger accounts while ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Researching and correcting account discrepancies.
• Meeting all monthly and ad-hoc reporting deadlines.
• Assisting with audits and other inquiries as needed.
• Team oriented.
• Organized and attention to detail required.
