Job summary

Alteva RCM in Boca Raton is seeking a Healthcare Accounts Receivable Associate to manage a portfolio of physician accounts, perform claim follow-up, and pursue resolutions including basic denials and appeals. You will maintain detailed notes and collaborate with internal teams to optimize revenue cycle performance.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), 0–2 years in physician collections, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounts under guidance.
• Conduct claim follow-up and collections via payer portals.
• Work assigned accounts to resolution, including basic denials and appeals.
• Maintain accurate, timely account notes.
• Partner with internal teams to optimize revenue cycle performance.
• Follow departmental best practices and processes.
• Meet daily productivity and quality expectations.
• Escalate complex issues to Senior Associates or Team Leads.
