Job summary

CVS Health in Rockingham, NC is seeking a part-time Retail Store Associate to join our team. The role involves customer service, cashier duties, and teamwork to keep the store running smoothly.

The position offers about 20 hours per week with a base hourly pay of $15.00–$19.00, plus a comprehensive benefits package for eligible colleagues. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical requirements: upright standing for long periods, lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently, and good near vision for computer use and scanning.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving potential issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and assist locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties and handle cash, checks, and card transactions according to policy.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing/inventory as directed by store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when required, including opportunities for growth and development.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs that support our mission of helping people on their path to better health.
