Job summary

UVA Health is seeking an evening receptionist/clerical team member to support the unit under the direction of the manager or designee. Shifts include 3:30p-midnight, Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun 11a-11pm options, or 7a-7pm.

Responsibilities include maintaining medical records, effective communication, coordinating with ancillary departments, managing supplies, and supporting professional development for self and others. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Licensure: None.

This will be for evening shifts: 3:30p-midnight, or a weekend combo of Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun 11a-11pm, or 7a-7pm.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

The pay range for this role is $15.00 - $28.40 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
