Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking a part-time Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for the NICU. You will support the nursing station with clerical tasks and reception duties, while organizing supplies and equipment as directed.

Shifts are 12 hours long, day shifts from 5am to 5:30pm with rotating weekends. MOAB I/II is required within 30 to 150 days for PSJ employees; EPIC and MS Office experience is preferred, with vocational training or medical terminology courses

Qualifications

• MOAB I/II certification required within 30–150 days for PSJ employees in Emergency Department, 2T and PARC.
• Experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Experience with EPIC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Course completion for ward secretaries and medical terminology.
• Vocational or specialized training.

Responsibilities

• Work at the nursing station performing clerical and reception duties.
• Inventory, order, and organize supplies, equipment, and services as directed.
• Restock supplies throughout the unit and move beds as needed.

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) in the NICU at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Part-Time and will work 12-hour Day shifts. This shifts are 5am - 5:30pm and will include rotating weekends.

You will work at the nursing station and performs clerical and reception duties.Inventory, order and organize supplies, equipment, and services as directed. Other duties include restocking of supplies throughout unit and movement of beds.
