Health Unit Coordinator - Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

Under the direction of the manager or designee, supports the functions of the unit/area by performing receptionist and clerical duties.

1. Maintains the medical record in good form.
2. Communicates effectively using established systems/protocols.
3. Communicates effectively with ancillary departments.
4. Maintains unit supplies/forms appropriately.
5. Assumes responsibility for personal professional development and contributes to the professional growth of others.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $15.00 - $21.16 Hourly.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Licensure: None.

Physical Demands

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail; ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull less than 20 lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases.
