Fairfaxhospital is seeking a full-time Health Unit Coordinator at its Monroe location. The role involves managing clerical functions essential for patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the nursing unit.
Candidates should have a High School Diploma, at least 2 years of administrative experience, and 1 year in a healthcare setting. Training including CPR and other certifications will be provided during onboarding.
Health Unit Coordinator: Full Time Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm (Monroe location).
The Health Unit Coordinator manages the clerical functions of the nursing unit necessary to provide patient care. Follows established guidelines, policies, procedures and/or manuals from sources not limited to but including Fairfax Behavioral Health, The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and/or others, performs a wide variety of routine clerical duties in support of staff and patients ensuring smooth operations of routine unit business such as processing documents and records, maintaining and monitoring established record keeping methods as required.

Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent required.
Experience: 2+ years of administrative experience; 1 year in a health care setting required.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of Verbal De-Escalation and Handle with Care certifications, and CPR; provided during Fairfax new hire training.
