Completes clinical information system and patient record responsibilities including admission, discharge, and transfers, patient registration, obtaining and updating insurance information; ensures that records are complete and accurate to allow for patient billing. Ensures nursing staff is aware of patient needs communicated to the HUC through the nurse call system. Notifies appropriate staff during emergency situations, acute admissions, and discharges.
