Job summary

ICF is hiring a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to join the Health Engineering Solutions team. You will build enterprise backend solutions using React, Node.js, and OpenAPI to support CMS analytics and reporting systems. The role emphasizes Agile collaboration, scalable architectures, and cloud-first design.

The position offers remote work within the United States with occasional travel to customer sites. A strong track record in full-stack development and security-conscious coding is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• 1+ year of full-stack experience with React and Node.js
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• Must reside in the U.S. and perform all work in the U.S.
• Must have lived in the U.S. for three of the last five years

Responsibilities

• Design and build microservices and serverless applications in the cloud
• Implement web application changes and/or build new web applications using the React framework
• Work with Product Owner and UX design to understand diverse user requirements
• Collaborate with Architects and Engineers to implement development best practices
• Support test engineering to ensure product quality
• Participate in an Agile development environment
• Perform code reviews and improve code quality
• Coordinate with backend developers during application construction
• Document solutions and adhere to standards (architecture, security)
• Work with DevOps on CI, CD, and IaC
