Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Health Systems Specialist within the Medical Staff Office at a VA Medical Center. You will conduct analytical reviews, manage data, and advise leadership on Credentialing and Privileging processes.

This role is subject to an OPM consistency review and may involve grade changes. Time-in-grade requirements apply for current federal employees; an SF-50 must document eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must meet Time-In-Grade requirements if a current federal employee
• Education or experience combination allowed to qualify at GS-9
• Graduate education must be in a field related to health care administration or hospital administration

Responsibilities

• Implement FPPE and OPPE monitoring systems.
• Analyze FPPE/OPPE to ensure they measure clinical competence of LIP.
• Collaborate with leadership and C&P teams to manage FPPE/OPPE for the C&P Program.
• Gather, analyze, document and track program data to ensure compliance.
• Lead weekly Report Card data for the C&P Program.
• Review quarterly reports required by Central Office.
