Job summary

Little Medical School of Savannah is hiring energetic instructors to lead health and medicine STEM-based enrichment classes for children. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and paid training.

Locations across the greater Savannah area and lower South Carolina, with 5–10 hours per week initially and potential to grow to 30 hours after training. No prior teaching or medical experience required; provided lesson plans, equipment, and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Enjoy working with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and comfortable leading a group.
• Available during select weekday mornings or afternoons.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to follow lesson plans and program procedures.
• Experience working with children is helpful but not required.
• Experience in education, healthcare, or medicine is a plus, but not required.
• CPR or First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enrichment classes for children ages 2 and older.
• Teach introductory health, medicine, and STEM concepts.
• Follow easy-to-use lesson plans and curriculum provided by our programs.
• Encourage children and create a positive class environment.
• Set up and organize equipment and class materials.
• Communicate professionally with school staff, families, and team members.
