Job summary

Little Medical School of Savannah is seeking energetic instructors to lead health and medicine STEM-based enrichment classes for children in the Savannah area. Training is provided, and you’ll follow prepared lesson plans with ongoing support.

Positions are part-time, 5–10 hours per week with weekday mornings/afternoons; additional hours may become available after training, up to 30 hours. Starting pay is $20+ per hour after training, with benefits like training, plans, and family programming.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Enjoy working with children.
• Available during select weekday mornings or afternoons.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to follow lesson plans and program procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, age-appropriate enrichment classes for children ages 2 and older.
• Teach introductory health, medicine, and STEM concepts.
• Follow easy-to-use lesson plans and curriculum provided by our programs.
• Encourage children and create a positive class environment.
• Set up and organize equipment and class materials.
• Communicate professionally with school staff, families, and team members.
