About the Role

Aon is hiring for a Health Solutions Senior Consultant in New York, New York. This is a hybrid position that involves supporting the Account Executive as the Lead Consultant on the team, taking ownership of projects and deliverables, managing client issues, providing guidance to junior colleagues, and serving as the primary day-to-day vendor and/or client contact.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal Subject Matter Experts including audit, legal, and specialized broking teams.
• Facilitate communication with external stakeholders and vendor partners.
• Lead project management and execution of client deliverables.
• Manage client issues.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues.

Qualifications and Skills

• Five to ten years of experience in group health and benefits consulting or a relevant industry, with a strong working knowledge of benefits.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Project Management, Risk Management, Solutions Design, Benefits Administration, Workforce Strategy, Consulting, Customer Engagement, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Data Analysis, Data Management, and Meeting Facilitation.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
• Must have appropriate insurance license/life and health (can be fulfilled post-hire).

Location and Work Arrangement

Hybrid role with flexibility to work both virtually and from a local office in New York, New York.

Compensation

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $110,000 to $125,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
