Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Anchorage, AK seeks a Health Services Coordinator to support health, nutrition, disabilities, and safety services for children and families enrolled in Early Head Start at Clare Swan Early Learning Center.

The role coordinates compliance activities, maintains health records, assists staff and families, and partners with internal and external entities to ensure services meet Head Start standards and licensing requirements while keeping children safe.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse populations.
• Strong data entry and data tracking abilities.
• Ability to interpret regulations and implement program requirements.
• Proficient computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Must provide current Health Report and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate health policies and procedures to meet Head Start and licensing standards.
• Maintain health database, health records, immunizations, and screenings; communicate with families.
• Collaborate with staff to support children's health needs and medication administration.
• Coordinate CACFP activities including meal counts and reports.
• Support staff training and health/safety meetings with partners.
