Job summary

University of Central Florida invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track assistant professor position in Clinical Psychology, anticipated to begin August 2027. The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in multiple modalities and develop an equitable workload.

We seek collaborators with strong research in health services psychology, capable of securing external funding and mentoring PhD students within UCF’s Clinical Psychology program and its affiliated clinics.

Qualifications

• PhD from an APA- or PCSAS-accredited program in health services psychology.
• Eligible for licensure as a psychologist in Florida or able to obtain licensure within 2 years.
• Record of scholarly activity and ability to secure external funding is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in-person and online.
• Develop a productive program of health services psychology research.
• Mentor and supervise Clinical Psychology PhD students and trainees.
• Contribute to departmental and university service and outreach.
