Job summary

Topeka Presbyterian Manor, part of PMMA, is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team in Topeka, KS. Starting at $28.50 an hour plus weekend differential with our Premium Pay Plan.

You will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring care aligns with federal, state, and local standards while delivering resident-centered services in a faith-based, not-for-profit community.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program.
• Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus.
• I.V. Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities by nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards, regulations guiding the community.
• Maintain a resident-centered approach and reflect home-like environment.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the Community and as may be required by the department director or supervisor to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained. Reflects the value that the resident comes first. This employee values the Community as the residents’ home and works to create attributes of home and models person centered care.
