SOL Engineering Services, LLC is an engineering and technical services provider with over 19 years of experience. Our team of approximately 100 engineers, scientists, technical subject matter experts, and project managers ensures effective project management and delivery, maintaining high-quality, responsive services across the United States.

We are pleased to announce that CCPRS has won a 5-year contract for the Public Assistance Technical Assistance Contract V (PA TAC V) in the West zones, including states such as Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, California, Arizona, and others. Through CCPRS, SOL Engineering Services, LLC seeks a technical support assistant to aid FEMA disaster-related operations nationwide. FEMA utilizes PA TAC to source various professional services, including environment/planning, engineering, construction management, project management, and financial analysis, to assist public entities in securing federal aid for disaster recovery.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Health Scientist with a strong background in public health, epidemiology, environmental health, or related fields, especially with disaster response and recovery experience. The role involves providing expert guidance and technical support to FEMA's PA Program, assessing health-related concerns post-disaster, and leading our disaster recovery team in projects involving hurricanes, floods, and other catastrophic events. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply ecological expertise to disaster recovery, environmental considerations in rebuilding, and community resilience enhancement. Candidates with FEMA experience or related fields, currently residing in listed areas or available for deployment, are encouraged to apply.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Public Assistance (PA) experience is highly in demand for deployment and is a FEMA requirement, with at least 1 year of deployment experience at regional, state, or local levels.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years in ecological assessment, natural resource management, or environmental consulting, with disaster recovery and FEMA Public Assistance experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to pass an FBI background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing excellent customer service, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
  • Experience with the PA Program, including roles such as Site Inspector, Program Delivery Manager, or FEMA-certified Trainer.
  • Completed relevant FEMA training courses.

Veterans and HUBZone residents are encouraged to apply. SOL Engineering Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
