Your Opportunity

Stantec Health Sciences Advisory is seeking exceptional scientists with undergraduate and graduate degrees and training in toxicology, environmental health sciences, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, occupational health, epidemiology, computational sciences, and public health. This role can be located in Irvine, CA; Washington, DC; or Pittsburgh, PA.

Your Responsibilities

  • Performing quantitative and qualitative exposure and risk assessments

  • Critically evaluating and summarizing the scientific literature

  • Assisting with or leading the production of technical work products, presentations, and proposals

  • Contributing to or leading in the development of scientific manuscripts and conference presentations

  • Participate in company training and collaborative professional development efforts

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Ability to work in one of the markets listed in this posting

  • Training in toxicology, environmental health sciences, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, occupational health, epidemiology, computational sciences, or public health

Education and Experience

PhD in a relevant field with 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Master’s degree in a relevant field with 4-5 years of relevant experience.

Undergraduate degree in a relevant field with 6 years of relevant experience.

Relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree or years of experience.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

  • $56,200 - $78,700 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in WA and DC

  • $60,700 - $100,900 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.

Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.

The benefits information listed above may not apply to union positions because benefits for such positions are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreements.
