Zusammenfassung

NORC at the University of Chicago seeks a Research Associate I to join the Health Sciences Research Department. The role provides broad support across research design, data collection, analysis, and reporting for a large NIH-funded initiative.

The position is hybrid with a Chicago Loop or Washington, DC presence, requiring in-office attendance at least six days per month. Eligible to work in the U.S., visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in health policy, public health, public administration, sociology, or related field.
• 6 months of research experience in social sciences with qualitative and/or quantitative methods.
• Outstanding interpersonal, critical reasoning, analytic, and writing skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with standard statistical software (R, Python) is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Provide general support on research projects and maintain documentation.
• Assist on tasks related to research design, data collection and analysis.
• Keep project tasks on track with the Project Manager.
• Develop training materials and user guides for technical systems.
• Translate complex processes into clear content and maintain LMS records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members and other departments.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance training materials and learner engagement.
• Support proposals and project-related document preparation.
