The successful candidate will bring health science information and data literacy as well as familiarity with research and scholarly communication practices in the sciences to students and faculty. In addition, the librarian will serve as an academic advisor to a limited number of students in alignment with library practice and the Gonzaga University Faculty Handbook. Finally, professional and university service in the form of committee participation will be expected. As a non-tenure track position, this librarian will not have research or scholarship requirements though there is support for professional development or scholarly activity possible as a commitment to development across the library. As a member of the Foley Library faculty, this librarian will forward the library’s mission and values while actively contributing to the success of a diverse population of students. Though there is support for remote work as part of the regular schedule, Gonzaga University is committed to an on-campus experience.
