Qualifications

  • Earned master’s degree in health sciences, health education and promotion, public health, or related field.
  • Evidence of effective undergraduate teaching or relevant instructional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach multiple in-person undergraduate Health Sciences courses within the general education curriculum, including large-enrollment sections (160 students each).
  • Teach undergraduate courses within the Health Sciences major curriculum.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and evidence-based instruction appropriate for undergraduate students.
  • Use appropriate instructional technologies and learning management systems.
  • Provide student support through office hours and other instructional activities.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to teaching and the Health Sciences discipline.
  • Participate in service at the departmental, college, and university levels.
