Valero is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with federal, state, and refinery regulations through education, training, and auditing at the McKee Refinery. You will administer the refinery safety program, implement improvements, and work with on-site personnel to resolve safety issues.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years in refinery/petrochemical safety permitting, on-site work, and may prefer Emergency Response and Incident Command training.

As a Health & Safety Specialist you will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and refinery regulations policies, and procedures concerning health, safety, and fire protection through education, training, and auditing. Administer the refinery safety program, with policy and procedural approvals, with primary emphasis on implementing, managing, and recommending improvements of the safety program for optimum results.
