Job summary

Chord Energy’s Houston office seeks a Health & Safety Contractor Management Representative to provide safety support, contractor oversight, and regulatory compliance across E&P operations.

You will administer contractor safety programs, coordinate with ISN and TPS Alerts, manage grading, and support risk management with insurance verifications. Hybrid work option, with occasional travel for audits and conferences.

Qualifications

• 2 years working knowledge and experience in E&P field operations.
• 2 years of experience working with ISN.
• Strong working knowledge of H&S Management Systems, OSHA, and other applicable industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administrate contractor safety management and liaise with ISN.
• Manage contractor grading and respond to grade changes.
• Administer variance process for higher risk contractors.
• Onboard new contractors with safety vetting in coordination with supply chain.
• Verify contractor insurance compliance with Risk Management.
• Maintain Contractor Expectations Manual and verify compliance.
• Manage concurrent projects and deliver presentations with clear language.
• Travel to ISN conferences and ND for contractor audits as needed.
• Provide input and recommendations to team and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

The Health & Safety Contractor Management Representative will provide Health & Safety support and technical services to the organization, with a strong emphasis on occupational safety. This position is based in Chord Energy’s Houston office and reports to the Director of Health & Safety. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience.

Essential Job Functions

Administrate contractor safety management for Chord Energy Point of contact with ISN, TPS Alerts Manages contractor grading and acts on grade changes Administers the variance process for higher risk contractors Work with supply chain team on onboarding new contractors and vetting their safety performance Works with Risk Management to verify insurance compliance of contractors Maintains the Contractor Expectations Manual and verifies compliances Manage concurrent projects and assignments Travel to ISN conferences and ND for Contractor audits as needed Provide sound input and recommendations to team and management Develop a variety of business documents and deliver presentations that illustrate command of language, clarity of thought, and orderliness of information Other duties as assigned This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position. Minimum Qualifications

2 years working knowledge and experience in E&P field operations 2 years of experience working with ISN Strong working knowledge of H&S Management Systems, OSHA, and other applicable industry regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing company Ability to meet deadlines and the ability to produce results under tight time constraints Strong written and verbal communication skills Possess basic working knowledge of oil and gas exploration and production technologies Communicate effectively with colleagues, superiors, vendors, and regulators Have a valid driver's license Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess the ability to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, copier, files, telephone, and fax; maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. On occasion this role will report to the field and be in the field near moving mechanical parts; and in the field, plant, drilling, and pipeline facilities in all outdoor weather conditions and must be able to handle exposure to extreme weather conditions and areas where hazardous chemicals are present. Must be able to climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit and walk extensively.
