Carrying out Health & Safety contractual service visits, providing documentation and advice / assistance as required.

Job Overview :

The Health & Safety Department is seeking a dedicated professional Health & Safety Consultant with extensive technical knowledge and experience. The ideal candidate will build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality, cost-effective consultancy services. Ideally, you will be a chartered member of The Institution of Occupational Safety & Health or an equivalent organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Conduct yourself professionally at all times, including appearance, PPE use, and communication, ensuring compliance with company and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Visit client premises to carry out agreed contractual work.
  • Undertake health and safety visits to client premises according to departmental protocols and contract requirements, especially where SLAs are in place.
  • Submit relevant reports and documentation in line with client demands and departmental protocols.
  • Advise and instruct clients on the use of Health and Safety Management systems, technical documents, and online services.
  • Coordinate with HSE and other enforcing authorities on behalf of clients when necessary.
  • Assist clients with accident investigations and other special investigations as required.
  • Advise clients on health and safety standards and best practices relevant to their business.
  • Provide management reports as needed.
  • Manage time effectively to deliver efficient service to clients.
  • Attend company meetings and training courses to maintain and update professional skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and secure condition.
  • Support clients through effective crisis management when required.
  • Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by your Line Manager.
