About This Role:

Crusoe Energy is seeking an experienced and proactive Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our expanding team. This pivotal role will be an integral part of our Digital Infrastructure Group (DIG) and will be primarily responsible for providing dedicated HSE support to construction activities undertaken by this department. The position can be based in either our Cherry Creek / Denver Office or our San Francisco Office, offering flexibility for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technical safety principles, with a strong emphasis on construction-related activities, and will be a highly proactive team player with exceptional communication skills, capable of interacting effectively across all organizational levels. This is a full-time position.

What You’ll Be Working On:
  1. Operational Risk Management: Partner closely with various operational teams within the DIG organization to understand operational risks and develop effective mitigation plans.

  2. Contractor HSE Performance Management: Evaluate contractor HSE performance, conduct meetings with high-risk contractors, and establish performance expectations to drive positive HSE results.

  3. Incident Investigation and Corrective Actions: Investigate all HSE-related incidents thoroughly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  4. HSE Documentation Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE processes, procedures, and guidelines to support safe operations.

  5. Incident and Statistical Tracking: Track incidents, compile HSE statistics, and generate reports for DIG projects.

  6. Regulatory Interpretation and Application: Interpret complex HSE regulations and internal policies to make sound business decisions.

  7. HSE Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary SME for all health and safety topics across the DIG organization.

  8. Cross-Functional Support: Provide HSE support to other operational groups within Crusoe, such as data centers, as needed.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  1. Educational Background: A university degree or equivalent relevant experience.

  2. Relevant Industry Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience, with significant construction project experience preferred.

  3. HSE Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of federal and state HSE regulations.

  4. HSE Implementation Experience: Proven experience in implementing HSE rules, policies, and procedures.

  5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  6. Computer Skills: Proficiency in office software and HSE data management systems.

  7. Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Compensation:

Range of $140,000 - $210,000, including Restricted Stock Units. Compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
