What You’ll Get To Do

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health, safety, and environmental considerations into daily operations.
• Provide training to employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and environmental awareness.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, to determine root cause and develop recommendations for prevention.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and changes in relevant laws and regulations.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators related to health, safety, and environmental performance.
• Implement and oversee waste management and recycling programs to minimize environmental impact.
  
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• A Bachelor’s degree in safety management, environmental management, industrial hygiene or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a progressively responsible health, safety, and environmental position.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is preferred and/or OSHA 30-hour completion.
• A past and effective experience managing workers’ compensation claims and reducing liability costs through a “Return-to-Work” (RTW) program and other risk-limiting strategies and methods.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret legislative and regulatory statutes, policies, and mandates relative to workplace health, safety, and environment and its impact on our corporation and team members.
• A proven competency and proficiency with respect to health, safety, and environment statistical measurement methodology, analysis and interpretative action plan creation.
• An ability to carry out multiple assigned tasks and projects to their completion with minimal supervision.
