Job summary

HLBMA LLC is seeking a Health & Safety Administrative Specialist I to support safety programs in our Savannah area production environment. This role coordinates training, maintains OSHA records, and helps ensure regulatory compliance under EH&S leadership.

You will conduct inspections, assist with JHA and hazard assessments, support incident investigations, and prepare safety communications and documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent combination may be considered
• Professional safety certifications (ASP, GSP, or related) preferred
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled safety inspections and jobsite audits and report findings to EH&S leadership
• Support Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), ergonomic assessments, and PPE hazard assessments with risk rankings and controls
• Support industrial hygiene monitoring programs and coordinate with external labs
• Maintain OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 documentation and assist workers' compensation files
• Coordinate and deliver safety training and track completion
• Prepare safety communications, signage, and training visuals
• Review invoices and track department budget within approved plans
