Job summary

Amazon Health Services Legal is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as legal counsel supporting our Senior Health business, focusing on Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and other value-based care initiatives. You will advise on healthcare regulatory matters and draft agreements leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, manage government payor programs, and navigate complex provider transactions, including risk sharing structures.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and bar admission in one state.
• 5+ years of post-bar admission legal experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare Shared Savings Program, Medicare Advantage, value-based arrangements and related safe harbors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare regulatory issues related to government payors, value-based care models, and strategic partnerships.
• Draft agreements leveraging AI tools to build in efficiencies and quality.
• Identify risk and formulate strategic approaches to optimize business performance.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on policy matters and support government agency interactions, including inquiries and audits.
