About the Opportunity

Our Health Promotion team is collaborating with our Afghan Youth Mentorship team to bring Art Therapy and the "Chai and Chat" programs to the Pashto-speaking female community. We are seeking 1-2 female Pashto-speakers to support this initiative.

Responsibilities
  1. Attend monthly or bi-monthly in-person Art Therapy and Chai-and-Chat events at our Glendale, CA office.
  2. Provide Pashto interpretation and translation between clients and instructors or caseworkers.
Requirements
  • Fluent Pashto and English speaker.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and compassionately to diverse audiences.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Cultural sensitivity and professionalism when interacting with people from various backgrounds.
