Responsibilities
- Serve as the site lead, developing, planning and coordinating implementation of all activities of the health promotion program at the installation level.
- Conduct wellness screenings, educational classes, incentive programs, and health fairs.
- Perform services such as finger sticks and other biometric measurements including height, weight, body mass index, body composition, and blood pressure.
- Educate participants on health awareness and lifestyle modification.
- Provide orientation and training to new staff and communicate new policies or changes in procedures.
- Ensure program staffing meets scope of work, adjusting schedules to meet fluctuating workloads.
- Evaluate programs and provide progress reports.
- Maintain current knowledge of health promotion topics to keep education material current; coordinate and ensure supplies, equipment, and files are kept in properly secured storage.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills when working with internal and external customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the contractor project manager.
- Support mobile worksite events as applicable.
Location: Edwards AFB
Job Type: Full‑time
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
Hours: Monday – Friday
Minimum Recommended Qualifications
- BA/BS in Public Health, Exercise Physiology, Health Education, or related field.
- Three (3) years’ experience working with a Health Promotion Program.
- One (1) year management experience of a Health Promotion Program and at least one (1) year supervisory experience if the position requires supervisory duties.
- Must possess current CPR/AED/first aid certifications.
- May be required to obtain an additional certification based on specific customer needs.

- NASM Wellness Coach Certification
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
