Job summary

The Centre for Health Policy (CHP) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) in Patna invites applications for a Research Assistant position.

Qualifications

• Master’s coursework in Public Health or Health Care Management or related field.
• Good knowledge of research methodology, infectious diseases, and health systems in India.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Exposure to qualitative and quantitative data analytics and relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate continuous communication and field activity coordination.
• Provide training to government functionaries and field investigators.
• Develop communication materials and daily data compilation; manage databases.
• Conduct data quality checks and document QA processes.
• Data cleaning, mapping, and coding of open-ended responses; merge datasets.
• Prepare data analysis and tabulation plans; perform analyses from multiple sources.
• Collate and analyze secondary data for knowledge generation.
• Prepare dissemination materials including scientific manuscripts for stakeholders.
• Build capacity of program team and government counterparts in data understanding.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks for stakeholders; travel 10-30% as required.
