Job summary

Maryland Department of Health seeks a full-time contractual policy analyst to design, evaluate, and update statewide policies for the Maryland Healthy Smiles Dental Program. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of health policy experience; a Master's degree can substitute for the required experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• One year of experience evaluating, analyzing, researching and developing health care services, policies and programs.
• Master's degree in Health Sciences, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Public Policy or closely related field may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, analyze, develop and update statewide policies, data and reports for the Maryland Healthy Smiles Dental Program.
• Assist with monitoring the contract of the Dental Benefits Administrator (DBA) that administers the Maryland Healthy Smiles Dental Program.
