Job summary

Molina Healthcare in the United States is seeking a Health Plan Data Analyst to support risk and quality reporting for Medicaid, Medicare, Marketplace and MMP. You will design and develop custom reports to back local interventions and track outcomes of initiatives.

The role includes educating users on using reports related to HEDIS, performing data mining and root-cause analysis, and contributing to special quality projects in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years mapping, scrubbing and cleaning data for HEDIS/risk adjustment.
• 1 year in a managed care organization or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, and data analytics.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and big data tools.

Responsibilities

• Provides analyst support for health plan risk and quality reporting activities.
• Designs and develops custom health plan reports to support interventions and tracks outcomes.
• Educates users on how to use reports related to risk and quality/HEDIS.
• Builds intervention strategy reporting to close gaps and improve HEDIS performance.
• Works in an agile environment using SQL, Power BI, and Excel for data analysis.
