Job summary

Molina Healthcare in New York seeks a Health Insurance Enrollment Specialist to support member enrollment activities, interview and screen candidates, assist with plan selection and enrollment, and maintain documentation and follow-up.

The role requires educating potential members about plan features, supporting the application process, and collaborating with community partners while traveling locally to outreach events.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of health care or customer service experience.
• Marketplace Certified NYSOH CAC or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Interpersonal/customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Data processing and proofing experience; independent work ability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable software.

Responsibilities

• Meets monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment goals and growth targets.
• Facilitates inbound/outbound calls to interview, screen and assist potential members with enrollment.
• Meets with potential members at various sites within communities.
• Educates applicants navigating the enrollment process and explains requirements.
• Explains plan features/benefits and walks through disclosures.
• Submits completed applications by state deadlines and Molina guidelines.
• Assists current members with recertification and add-ons for family members.
• Participates in community outreach events and builds external partnerships.
• Local travel to sites as required; weekend/evening events occasionally.
