Health Plan Account Manager - REMOTE

Job Description

The Account Manager supports the Employer Account Executive and Employer Groups through communication, client initiatives, and product recommendations. Establishing and maintaining client relationships is essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Work with Employer Groups and Leadership to resolve issues and enhance member satisfaction.
  2. Collaborate on business cases, implementations, and performance standards.
  3. Analyze reporting requests and present relevant information to support decision-making.
  4. Build relationships with Employer Groups and promote product opportunities.
  5. Support audits, client presentations, and health fairs.
  6. Optimize pharmacy spend for small employer accounts using Prime products.
  7. Support client retention through proactive issue resolution and relationship management.
  8. Document interactions and update Salesforce CRM accurately.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field, or equivalent; HS diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of Client Service/Account Management experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

  • Effective selling, presentation, and proposal skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for facilitating meetings, resolving conflicts, and influencing.
  • Ability to balance compliance, business goals, and risks.
  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare or PBM industry.
  • Pharmacy technician experience or CPhT certification.
Physical Demands
  • Travel up to 30%.
  • Work outside standard hours when needed.
  • Sit, use hands, talk, hear, reach, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Visual abilities required.
