Job description

Join to apply for the Health Plan Account Manager- REMOTE role at Prime Therapeutics.

The Account Manager supports Employer Account Executives and Employer Groups through communication, client initiatives, and product recommendations. Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients is essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Employer Groups and Health Plan Leadership to resolve issues and ensure member satisfaction; coordinate with operational units to prevent future issues.
  2. Assist in building business cases for client initiatives; support implementations, performance standards, and cost justifications.
  3. Understand reporting requests, access relevant information, and present data effectively to influence decision-making.
  4. Hold regular meetings with Employer Groups to build relationships and promote products; follow up on action items.
  5. Support audits, develop client presentations, and facilitate visits and health fairs.
  6. Optimize pharmacy spend for small employer accounts using Prime products and services.
  7. Support client retention through proactive issue resolution and understanding client challenges and priorities.
  8. Document interactions and data in Salesforce CRM, including meeting notes, risks, decisions, and next steps.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of Client Service/Account Management experience.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

  • Effective communication, presentation, and proposal development skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for facilitating meetings, resolving conflicts, and influencing across departments.
  • Ability to prioritize compliance, business goals, and initiatives under pressure.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare or PBM industry.
  • Pharmacy technician experience and/or CPhT certification.
Physical Demands
  • Travel up to 30%.
  • Work outside standard hours as needed.
  • Ability to sit, use hands, talk, hear, and perform physical activities as described.

Salary range: $59,000 - $94,000, based on experience.
