Job description

Position Functions: Provides engaging instruction, administers tests, and evaluates student progress in understanding and proficiency in assigned field of Career and Technical Training.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide students with industry‑recognized instruction and training
• Develop and prepare lessons; recommend curricular changes and supplemental materials
• Administer and correct tests; log and maintain progress and attendance
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs
• Manage the classroom by moving about the room to tutor, coach, evaluate, and assist each student as the need arises
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits
• Evaluate and supervise students in an on‑the‑job training experience
• Participate in providing hands‑on activities for students in the career preparation program. Note: This job description is not intended to be all‑inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as needed to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Educational Requirements & Experience

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree
