Job summary

The Health and Natural Sciences Librarian at High Point University coordinates research support, instructional services, and learning space operations for the university's natural and health sciences programs. Qualifications

MLIS from an ALA-accredited program.
2–4 years of experience in an academic library preferred.
Experience designing and delivering workshops or instructional sessions.
Experience supervising student employees or coordinating service desks preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to collaborate within the library and university community.

Responsibilities

Provide reference, research and instructional support.
Design and deliver in-person and online library instruction for health and natural sciences programs.
Serve as library liaison to undergraduate and graduate programs, building relationships with faculty.
Contribute to collection development and assessment to support teaching and research.
Promote and support use of the Institutional Repository for work by students and staff.
